Possehl created a temporary labyrinth at the Keystone Theatre The art of constructing and the act of walking labyrinths are ancient, often sacred, meditation tools for reflection and spiritual enlightenment. Millennium Artist Robert Possehl partnered with Bradford Regional Arts Council on an ambitious Artists & Communities residency that sought to extend the reach of their project beyond the geographic boundaries of Towanda, and reach throughout Pennsylvania's Northern Tier region. Above, Possehl created a temporary labyrinth in sawdust on the stage of the Keystone Theatre in Towanda, as part of a ceremony welcoming the artist and announcing the selected labyrinth sites for his residency.
